And I've grown a strong dislike for the Death Note Anime, so strong that it's kind of taking away my liking for the Manga a little.. Yet not really.

I still think that the show could have been an AWESOME short, 45 minute movie. Not to summarize the manga (well.. yeah, actually) as much as just make an entertaining watch.

There were about...one or two guys like that at my high skool. But we had separate lunches. There was first lunch and second. I was in first lunch, and we had the cool people. You could just do whatever, and a few friends would call out things when we were actually watching a show. 'Twas fun.
And spoiler ahead for...whomever hasn't been paying attention to DN...I guess...
However Death Note... Yeah. I agree about the dub, It's kinda horrible.
The manga is better by comparison (In my opinion). It just went downhill after L died.
(Spoiler overrrr)
There was already a huge annoying fanbase while the manga was out. It grew rapidly
I don't hear any more, now that it's in the US, than I had before.
